Its founders and their legacy
The college was founded by Sayyid A. I. Muthukoya Thangal (born 1910, Androth, Lakshadweep), a Qadiriyya shaykh and Arabi-Malayalam poet. Leadership later passed to his disciple Sayyid Muhammad Kamaludheen (Manjeri Shaikhuna) and then to his son Sayyid Shihabudheen K. P. Koya Thangal. Sister institutions include Faizul Hafiz Hifzul Qur’an and Doukul Irfan Arabic College at Manjeri, Noorul Hafiz Hifzul Qur’an College and Al Irfan Da‘wa College.
